Thanks, Julian, in particular for your shift of focus to the inner work of attunement or alignment vs the outer (endless) work of attainment that seems to be the dominant vibe of the larger culture. In other words, life is not so much about the endless and ultimately fruitless task of self-optimization as it is about the endless game of spiritual maturation and character development that naturally generates a meaningful life and produces "fruits of the spirit."
I needed this one! Sometimes it feels like everyone and everything in the world needs my effort in some shape or form. Which is not only untrue, but it’s kind of arrogant if I think about it.
